Local Politics
The Queens Park ward is represented by three councillors
on Bournemouth Borough Council. The 2003 elections returned three
Liberal Democrat councillors. The political representation was
dramatically changed in 2007 when two of the seats were won by
Conservatives.
Conservative councillor Alexander Adams subsequently
resigned, prompting a by-election on 1 May 2008.
Cheryl Johnson held the seat for the Conservatives.
